This is where I’m excavating this summer.
It’s the site of Gournia on Crete. It’s a Minoan palace site but there’s also a town and a tonne of domestic architecture which is a very big deal okay.
Also it’s goddamn beautiful and it’s been excavated since the early 20th century so basically RUINS RUINS EVERYWHERE.
