I just wrote poetry.
What actually.
If you know my writing styles at all, you know I do prose—I do fiction. I do not do poetry. I have an existing semi-hate for poetry and the whining of many poets (don’t get me wrong: some poets I adore. Some poems have made me cry. Some poems are taped to my wall. But most poems bother me).
But what do you know. I read a little Emily Bronte (hands down, favourite poet...
I'm so excited right now.
Because my dad and step-mom are starting a company, and today I saw the design Brand Identity concepts (so stuff like the logo) for the first time.
And they are so awesome.
I can’t wait until this product is being sold, and I can share it all with you. It’s just all too exciting and awesome for words.
PS: The logos are the coolest thing I have ever seen in my whole life.

So I’m making my first Harris Matrix. And it was going well with the first layers of stratigraphy…and then I hit a wall.
Literally.
And I have no idea how to incorporate a wall into a Harris Matrix, since the stratigraphic layers are different inside and outside. And I know it involves the branching on the matrix, but I’m definitely going to have to google how to do this one.
